🎲 BCS Board Games Evening with Mancala Games

Over the last few years, there has been an explosion of new board games, sparking the rise of hundreds of game cafés across Europe where people can enjoy a drink, a bite to eat, and a great game. Bringing this vibrant trend to our community, the BCS is hosting its very own games evening on Friday, October 24th, at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

We are excited to partner with Mancala Games (a local service run by Steve and James Rimmer), who will supply 60 to 70 different board games for the night. Absolutely no prior experience is necessary! Steve and James will be on hand to guide you, explain the rules, and help you get playing right away.

• The Games: Expect modern, engaging tabletop games that take about 30 to 45 minutes to play. You can try quick starters like Timeline and Trio, dive into popular challenges like Catan, Azul, Monkey Palace, and Bombusters, or test your skills with 2-player favorites like Jaipur. There will also be cooperative games where everyone wins or loses together—and absolutely nothing is electronic!

• Who Can Join: This event is open to everyone over the age of 8—including individuals, couples, families, and friends of any nationality. Nearly all games are language-neutral, and instructions can be provided in both English and Portuguese.
